Founded over thirty years ago by Buzz Knight, TimberWorks provides a wide range of professional construction services on both negotiated and bid projects. Our firm can provide all the necessary services for total construction, from project inception to project completion. Our Class A General Engineering and Class B General Contracting Licenses allow us to handle all types of construction projects, from bridges and road construction to site work, buildings and other facilities.

TimberWorks had its beginnings as a general contracting sole proprietorship in March of 1978, after Buzz obtained his California State Contractor's License. In those early days, we specialized in timber-framed custom homes, with an emphasis on intricate wood detailing. In the succeeding years, the ever-increasing depth and complexity of contracting work required that we create an even more effective business operating environment. Thus in 1983, we incorporated as "Shasta Services, Inc."

During the spring of 1987, we acquired our current corporate office at 1125 South Mount Shasta Boulevard in Mount Shasta, California. We now employ over twenty-five hard-working supervisors, carpenters and laborers, many of whom have been with us for over fifteen years. The office staff consists of nine people and includes an accounting, project management and estimating departments and a heavy equipment/earthwork department. Our employees are our most valuable asset; they form an efficient and dedicated team committed to TimberWorks' long-term success.

At the heart of our business office operation is a fully computerized accounting, estimating and scheduling system that enables us to function efficiently and effectively. This networked system also allows us to provide complete financial reporting for timely budget reviews to our clients.

We pride ourselves not only on the integrity of the work we do, but also on the consistent and responsive manner with which that work is done. Our goal is to give our clients a quality job, done right and on-time. We work very hard to provide professional and superior construction services to all of our clients, both big and small.
